About the Role

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Agricultural Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for representing our client, an established Ag/Farm Equipment Retailer, and their product line to customers on-site and within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Representation: Professionally represent the Employer and their product line to customers, providing expert knowledge and guidance on equipment features and benefits.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Sell products and services following pricing strategy consistent with company policy, with a focus on driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
  • Prospecting and Follow-up: Conduct prospecting and follow-ups with customers in a timely fashion, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new equipment features, ensuring that customers receive the best possible advice and support.
  • Inventory Management: Keep management advised of any corrections to new and used equipment lists, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing stock discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with store staff and collaborate with the General Manager and other sales team members during the sales process, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • 2 or 4-year business-related degree preferred OR minimum 3 years of Ag Equipment sales experience
  • Success selling new or used Ag Spray Equipment beneficial
  • Commissioned sales experience a MUST
  • Strong Relationship-Builder
  • Ability to train/educate others on operation of equipment as well as demonstrating value-added sales techniques and models
  • Solid computer skills, highly organized, and an efficient time manager
  • Works well in fast-paced work environments
