As a Dining Room Server, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our residents' dining experiences. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and organization at dining tables, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. We seek individuals who are not only quick on their feet but also possess a friendly demeanor and enjoy engaging with others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver meals to residents in a restaurant-style setting, ensuring efficient and attentive service.
- Provide accurate information about menu items, including suggestions and answering inquiries.
- Monitor diners to fulfill additional requests and recognize when meals are completed.
- Efficiently clear dishes during and after meals to uphold sanitation standards.
- Set up dining tables according to etiquette, ensuring cleanliness of all dining essentials.
- Restock supplies as necessary before the next meal service.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and versatility.
- Complete all assigned side work efficiently, contributing to overall dining operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, equipment, and utensils as directed.
- Assist with catering setups and cleanups as required.
- Utilize the P.O.S. system accurately for guest transactions.
- Ensure a quality dining experience from food delivery to post-meal cleanup.
Qualifications:
- Full vaccination for Covid-19 is required.
- High School Diploma is preferred, but not mandatory. Minimum age requirement is 16 years.
- Prior experience in food service is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skills.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Dependability and motivation are key attributes.
