About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team at AKT Corp. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for network and gateway devices. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in programming languages such as C and C++. You will be responsible for designing and developing software applications using these languages, as well as working with Linux and Linux-based systems to develop and test software applications. You will also collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and maintain documentation for software applications and related processes, and contribute to the overall success of our products and services.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in programming languages such as C and C++. You should also have experience working with Linux and Linux-based systems. In addition, you should have good development experience in network and gateway devices for developing features in device management, Wi-Fi, and other functionalities. Development experience in RDK-B stack is preferred, but not required. Alternatives may include Open-WRT or other OEM networking stack. You should also have knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, and other relevant protocols for networking devices. Knowledge of the Yocto build system is also highly desirable. Experience working on multiple Broadband access technologies like DOCSIS, GPON, etc., is essential. Finally, you should have very good communication skills and the ability to articulate architectural and technical details to the group of SMEs in the respective domains.
