Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Service Credit Union. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in IT infrastructure management, application deployment, and database administration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operation and performance of our enterprise IT application systems, ensuring compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures. This includes managing the deployment, maintenance, and support of our applications and business systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation, installation, and maintenance of IT application systems infrastructure, including business applications, custom applications, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, including installation processes, SOPs, checklists, guides, best practices, and procedures.
  • Provide support to IT teams with application operational and support tasks, including regular rotation for on-call duty.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding credit union policies and procedures, member financial data, personal information, and work-related events.
  • Provide quality support and maintain a professional relationship with peers, management, other staff, and members through cooperation, mutual trust, and respect.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a related IT position, with a strong background in IT infrastructure management, application deployment, and database administration.
  • Experience deploying, upgrading, and maintaining business systems and applications, including experience with SQL and PowerShell scripts.
  • Understanding of API integrations (REST, SOAP) and design, implementation, and packaging of business applications and upgrades for deployment using SCCM.
  • Operational knowledge of creating, renewing, and maintaining SSL/TLS certificates, database structures, and operations (MS-SQL).
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
