Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Combat System Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Naval Systems department, you will be responsible for integrating and testing complex combat systems, including anti-air warfare domains and missile defense systems.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful integration of these systems, and you will work closely with other senior engineers to develop and implement automated tests and resolve system-level issues.

With a strong background in software and integration testing, you will be responsible for providing technical support to stakeholders and communicating complex technical information to non-technical teams.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of advanced combat systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integration and testing of combat systems, including anti-air warfare domains and missile defense systems
  • Development and implementation of automated tests to ensure system-level requirements are met
  • Collaboration with senior engineers to resolve system-level issues and improve system performance
  • Providing technical support to stakeholders and communicating complex technical information to non-technical teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software and integration testing
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on teams that use Agile Principles and Methodologies
  • Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems
  • Proficient working with Atlassian tech stack (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience working with Jenkins or similar toolset
  • Experience working with GIT
  • Scrum Master experience
  • MATLAB experience
