Job Description:
As a Quoting Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our Sales team as they work with existing and potential customers across various industries. You will help organize and enter custom quote requests for the Sales team to deliver.

Responsibilities:
• Enter data into Xometry's quote platform
• Retrieve quote request information from various channels
• Organize information for engineering review, including dimension drawings, RFQ documents, and CAD files
• Engage with Sales personnel for document clarification and correction
• Complete online and offline templates with available information
• Produce draft quotes per approved methodology
• Present and submit draft quotes to Quote Engineers
• Maintain real-time quote databases
• Review and set up custom quotes using Xometry's platform
• Review 3D models and 2D drawings for quoting and design-for-manufacturing feedback

Requirements:
• Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience
• Technical aptitude to understand manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing a plus
• Manufacturing background
• Customer service oriented
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience with high-volume data entry and management
• High energy and comfortable interfacing with coworkers
• Effective communication skills
