Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our ground support equipment and tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of facilities ground support equipment and/or tooling/equipment operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient fulfillment of business objectives and quality standards.
  2. Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of maintenance for all machines.
  3. Establish schedules and standards of performance for departmental assignments and maintain follow-up to ensure that schedules and standards are achieved.
  4. Report key performance metrics to management for maintenance on all equipment as required.
  5. Administer corporate/department policies and procedures to ensure achievement of overall quality and performance goals.
  6. Coordinate and schedule all training for ground support equipment and/or tooling/equipment personnel to ensure appropriate development.
  7. Review all departmental labor time on a weekly basis.
  8. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, project schedule & milestones, quality control and risk identification.
  9. Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Report status and variances.
  10. Assist in preparation and execution of contracts and supervise vendor/contractor services as required.
  11. Ensure all standard operating and safety procedures are followed when operating equipment and performing maintenance.
  12. Ensure that stringent housekeeping, 5S standards, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) requirements, and safety procedures and practices are followed.
  13. Ensure that the required Safety Management System action items are followed through to completion.
Requirements
  1. Knowledge of maintenance operations of advanced equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  2. PC literacy and recordkeeping skills required.
  3. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex processes, procedures, and policies.

This is a full-time position with up to 25% travel. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience.
