Job Title: Polish Localization QA Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Polish Localization QA Tester to join our team at Welocalize. As a Polish Localization QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our translated content and identifying any issues that may arise during the localization process.

Job Summary:

The Polish Localization QA Tester will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our translated content to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality. This includes testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS, identifying localization bugs, and reporting them via our internal bug-tracking system. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic skills, including native-level fluency in Polish and fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of translated content to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Identify and report localization bugs via our internal bug-tracking system
  • Verify fixes once implemented
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all localization issues are resolved in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Native-level fluency in Polish
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation
  • Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with test cases and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps for a given issue and communicate critical information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work with very diverse teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team ethic
