Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Slovenian Localization QA Tester/Proofreader to join our team at Welocalize. This is a unique opportunity for those who enjoy a combination of linguistic and technical work.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a native-level Slovenian speaker with strong technical skills to conduct test cases, identify localization bugs, and report them via an internal bug-tracking system. The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct test cases and identify localization bugs
  • Report bugs via an internal bug-tracking system
  • Verify fixes once implemented
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Communicate critical information clearly

Requirements:
  • Native-level fluency in Slovenian (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation
  • Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with test cases and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking systems

What We Offer:
  • On-Site in North East Austin, TX
  • W-2 contract (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)
  • Part-time and flexible schedule. From Monday to Friday, within the 9 am to 5 pm time range.
  • Hourly flat rate: $28
