Job Responsibilities

As a Cleared Security Officer, you will be entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. Your duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
  • Conducting patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
  • Greeting guests and employees and escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
  • Following site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
  • Responding to and assessing security alarms or emergency alarms
  • Acting as a first responder in emergency situations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • A Department of Defense (DoD) position-appropriate level security clearance
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • One or more of the following:
    • Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
    • Prior military experience
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
Preferred Qualifications

Prior law enforcement or armed security experience, or an Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field, are preferred.
