Job Summary:

As a Blood Center Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the suitability of blood donors and performing whole blood collection procedures in accordance with applicable regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine procedures using equipment available and according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Determine the eligibility and suitability of blood donors and document findings during health history screening.
  • Perform whole blood collection procedures according to standard operating procedures and performance expectations.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Complete and actively participate in all required training within designated time frames.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and dependability to create a collaborative and engaged working environment.
Requirements:
  • High School education or equivalency required.
  • EMT, Paramedic, LPN, C.N.A., or M.A. experience a plus.
  • Some customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in a team environment.
