- Develop and oversee a mentoring program for adult volunteers to foster growth and development.
- Deliver tailored learning opportunities that cater to diverse volunteer styles, ensuring effective preparation for their roles.
- Create and execute a strategic plan focused on retention, training, and support for adult volunteers.
- Assist volunteer administrative teams in planning and executing onboarding processes and retention strategies.
- Support the implementation of council-wide volunteer experience initiatives.
- Manage the onboarding process for volunteers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Attend and support key volunteer meetings throughout the year.
- Collaborate with community volunteers to enhance recruitment efforts and positively impact membership growth.
- Assist in budget development and monitoring as required.
- Partner with staff and volunteers to share impactful stories about the transformative power of Girl Scouting.
- Ensure compliance with risk management policies and address any non-compliance issues as necessary.
- Promote high-quality marketing and communication of activities and programs within the council.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents and respond to sensitive inquiries.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work remotely, with access to necessary technology and a conducive work environment.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
