Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Rehabilitation to lead our Rehabilitation Service Department at Autumn Care of Fayetteville. The ideal candidate will possess a valid and current license as an Occupational Therapist granted from the state of North Carolina and have previous experience in PDPM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Facilitate achievement of resident, physician, and therapy goals by providing consultation to members of our staff, community agencies, etc. in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the resident through the development of social service programs.
  • Participate in community planning related to the interests of the facility and the services and needs of the resident and family. Refer resident/families to appropriate social service agencies when the facility does not provide the services or needs of the resident.
  • Interview resident/families to obtain social history and provide information to resident/families as to Medicare/Medicaid, and other financial assistance programs available to the resident.

Shift & Wage:

  • PRN Opportunity Available. Shifts Needed: Days and Weekends. Wage: $55.00 per hour.
