LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Position Description

At Towne Manor West, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Staff Assignment: Assign nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and effective care delivery.
  • Resident Care: Provide overall supervision of resident care, ensuring that individual needs are met and care plans are implemented.
  • Clinical Duties: Administer medications, perform routine medical procedures, and maintain accurate records.
  • Supervision: Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Consumer Service: Present a professional image to consumers, adhering to company standards for resolving concerns and protecting resident rights.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of practice.
  • Leadership ability and willingness to work with and supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
