LPN Job Description

ProMedica Health System is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care West Orange.

Job Summary

The LPN will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel and delivering direct care to residents. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to coordinate care delivery and ensure resident needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver high-quality care
  • Coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide education and training to nursing personnel
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of clinical experience as an LPN
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population care
  • A valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner

Physical Demands

This role requires:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
