Job Title: Financial Planning Manager

Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our business partners and functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial and business-related analysis and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, sales trends, working capital, and performance metrics.
  • Support the processing, payment, and tracking of government and commercial rebates, chargebacks, and other Gross-To-Net revenue deductions.
  • Prepare month-end accounting entries, perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts, and perform month-end review of results.
  • Prepare monthly financial review packages to management, including commenting on variances to plan, forecast, and prior year.
  • Data analytics: gather, manage, and manipulate data from multiple sources for analysis; identify trends, extract insights, and synthesize data into business information.
  • Deliver actionable presentations of findings to various levels of management.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, operating plans, and forecasts in consultation with business leaders.
  • Partner with senior and executive management on ad-hoc and what-if analysis and special projects.
  • Prepare, maintain, and develop financial models, financial planning and reporting systems, and tools.
  • Deliver presentations to various levels of management about financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance; MBA in Finance preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Hands-on systems experience: SAP/ERP, Tableau, multi-dimensional financial planning and reporting.
  • Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and principles of financial analysis.
  • Strong budget management and reporting skills.
  • Skilled at financial analysis and providing clear, compelling, and sound financial recommendations.
  • Impeccable professional integrity.
  • Data modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent projects.
  • Analytical thinker and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Persuasive interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.

Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America offers a competitive benefits package, including medical and dental health benefits, short-term and long-term disability plans, company-paid and supplemental life insurance, and additional voluntary benefits.

We also provide a generous PTO policy based on tenure, commencing with 24 PTO days, pro-rated based on hire date.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $135,000, and factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

This position is eligible to participate in our annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) program.
