At Dua Miami, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service and driving sales growth.

About the Role:

  • This role will involve supporting our Sales Managers and Directors of Sales in achieving customer satisfaction by performing various administrative duties related to guest and hotel communications.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring effective communication within the department and with other teams, and providing support for light selling duties to small groups and functions.
  • We are looking for someone who can work well under pressure, maintain composure and objectivity in challenging situations, and effectively handle problems and conflicts.
  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements.
  • Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to company dress code and wearing a name tag when working.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Maintain organized sales files and accounts coverage programs as applicable.
  • Answer phone inquiries, qualify leads, and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Type sales contracts, BEOs, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Manage lead logs and statistics for strategic outbound sales efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure consistent data entry in sales systems.
  • Assist managers with creative projects, proposals, direct mail pieces, invitations, and special events.
  • Ensure timely and effective paper flow and communication within the department and with other teams.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is desired.
  • Ability to type 55 wpm.
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems, OnQ, and Sales Pro Enterprise.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, employee assistance program, and 401(k) retirement plan.
