Senior QA Tester Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Tester to join our team at Apex Systems. As a Senior QA Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the quality of the product.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing.
  • Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
