(BLE), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that geosynthetic materials are installed in compliance within industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. The individual who will fill this role will be under the direct guidance of a registered professional engineer, you will work as a team member alongside site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform the required inspection or monitor general contractor activities, onsite testing, and reporting of earthwork, soil construction and geosynthetic baseliner installations on various job sites throughout the Southeastern United States. In addition, you will actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing to ensure construction standards and specifications are being met. Minimum Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education (GED).Observe and diligently document installation process on a job site, (quality, strength, and integrity of geosynthetic materials, including tension tests, seam integrity assessments, and geomembrane leak detection tests) in accordance with company and project specifications.Monitor and meticulously document all stages of geosynthetic installation, including preparation of subgrade, placement of geosynthetic materials, test results, corrective actions taken, seam welding or joining, and any additional comprehensive inspection reports for project documentation.Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide input on geosynthetics installation best practices, standards, and quality control measures. Provide training and guidance to CQA team on proper geosynthetics installation techniques and quality standards.Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to geosynthetics installation and quality assurance. Collaborate with third-party testing laboratories and other relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and reliable testing of geosynthetic materials. . Preferred Qualifications2-3 years of experience in solid waste / geosynthetic disciplineProgressive experience in the observation and construction administration of liner installation and soil testing.Experience in client relations.Leader and team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills.
