POSITION SUMMARY:

The Key Carrying Lead plays a vital role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, this individual serves as the in-store authority for their specific department.

This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service while providing direction and support to team members. The Lead is distinguished by their ability to lead by example, demonstrate empathy, maintain optimism, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assist in building and hiring a robust team by participating in in-store interviews and conducting department tours.
  2. Foster a people-first culture by connecting with every team member to establish mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong recognition culture within the store.
  3. Plan and organize store operations 30 days in advance, collaborating with the Assistant Store Manager to align on workforce needs for daily tasks, projects, and events.
  4. Utilize team members strategically to ensure brand standards are upheld and daily tasks are prioritized effectively.
  5. Support store leadership with general supervision, adhering to company policies, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  6. Maintain merchandising and presentation standards by following established guidelines for floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory management.
  7. Assist in training new and existing team members on company policies and procedures, emphasizing hands-on coaching and the rationale behind tasks.
  8. Uphold loss prevention standards and ensure compliance within the department.
  9. Promote an inclusive environment where all team members and customers feel welcomed and respected.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items weighing between 15 to 35 lbs repetitively.
  • Capability to work extended periods (up to 4 hours) while standing or walking.
  • Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using ladders or aerial lifting devices.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive motions for short durations (up to 2 hours continuously).
