Dietitian - Mount Sinai Brooklyn - Food Therapeutics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nutritionist to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing quality nutrition care and education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Nutrition Assessment and Counseling: Conduct thorough nutrition assessments of patients and provide personalized nutrition counseling to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective nutrition care plans.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and best practices.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Education and Certification: Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required, NYS CDN preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
