Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.

  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and health promotion strategies.
  • Leadership and Management: Assume charge nurse duties as assigned, and demonstrate effective leadership and management skills to ensure efficient unit operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Current RN licensure in New York State, BLS and ACLS certifications, and EPIC experience preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: At least 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Schedule and Availability: 3x12 schedule with weekends and holidays required.
