Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Scheduling Coordinator to join our team As a key member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments and ensuring seamless communication with medical staff and other hospital personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule outpatient visits for primary care, specialty/subspecialty, and radiology patients
  • Perform scheduling functions in a high-volume, fully computerized environment
  • Act as a liaison between staff, medical staff, physician offices, and other hospital personnel
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience in appointment scheduling, patient access, billing, customer service, or healthcare preferred
  • Inbound high volume call center experience a plus
  • Able to accurately type 30 WPM
  • Data entry and customer service skills required
  • Clear and present speaking voice essential
  • General knowledge of radiological procedures, exam preparations, and sequencing preferred
  • Medical assistant or CPAR certification a plus
  • Billing experience beneficial
  • Familiarity with Siemens OAS Gold/Siemens Invision health information system, word processing, and spreadsheet programs a plus

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $42,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
