About the Role: In the capacity of a Senior Solutions Architect specializing in Microsoft technologies, you will be instrumental in guiding customers through their journey of adopting AWS. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Strategic Migration Planning: Design and execute comprehensive migration strategies for Microsoft workloads to AWS, ensuring they align with client goals and adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Technical Engagement: Take ownership of the technical aspects and overall success of specific implementation projects, defining the architecture for these implementations.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide insights and best practices for the adoption of .NET applications in the cloud, focusing on scalability and security.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside diverse teams to create integrated solutions that leverage AWS services tailored to the unique requirements of enterprise and digital-native customers.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Lead workshops and sessions to educate clients and internal teams on Microsoft migrations and cloud optimization techniques.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging trends and technologies within cloud computing and the Microsoft ecosystem to guide strategic decisions and foster innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for distributed applications
  • 5+ years managing technical, customer-facing resources
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven history of successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large-scale enterprises
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort in communicating with executives and technical teams
  • Excellent written communication abilities
  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience in software development or internet-related industries
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field is highly desired
