Senior Solutions Architect for Microsoft Cloud Services

Are you passionate about driving customer success through innovative cloud solutions? As a key member of the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a vital role in helping clients leverage the power of AWS for their Microsoft workloads.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and executing comprehensive migration strategies for Microsoft applications to AWS, ensuring they align with client goals and adhere to industry regulations.
- Taking ownership of technical engagements and ensuring the successful implementation of specific projects, while defining robust architectural frameworks.
- Providing expert guidance on best practices for adopting .NET applications in the cloud, focusing on scalability and security.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to create integrated solutions that utilize AWS services tailored to the unique requirements of enterprise and digital-native clients.
- Leading workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to educate both clients and internal teams on Microsoft migration processes and cloud optimization techniques.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends within cloud computing and the Microsoft ecosystem to inform strategic initiatives and innovation.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications
- 5+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing teams
- 5+ years of technical experience with Microsoft technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven history of successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large-scale enterprises
- Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
- Familiarity with common enterprise services
- Strong presentation skills and comfort engaging with executives and technical teams
- Excellent written communication abilities
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience in software development or internet-related industries
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
