Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at Johnson Service Group. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies and performing complex mechanical assembly tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Build electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.
  • Manufacturing Drawings and Instructions: Read and understand manufacturing drawings and written work instructions.
  • Soldering and Cable Building: Perform simple soldering, and build cables.
  • Technical Support: Assist lead technician with cable routing of various rack systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
  • Quality Control: Work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2- 4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly of high technical products.
  • Skills: Skilled in complex mechanical, sub-assembly, rack, and chassis assembly. Skilled in building cable assemblies.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with 5S standards and ISO 9001. Ability to interpret detailed drawings and assembly work instructions. Ability to read blueprint diagram schematics.
  • Soft Skills: Familiar with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. Familiarity and experience with electronic assembly from component installation through subassembly and top-level assembly. Experience in installation and replacement of cable assembly.
