Your RoleAs a Certified Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and related behavioral health challenges. This position involves engaging with clients, sharing your lived experiences, and promoting a culture of recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and various community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State Certified Peer Recovery Supporter credential
- Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery processes
- Experience in behavioral health or addiction services is advantageous
