Your Role

As a Certified Recovery Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and related behavioral health challenges. This position involves engaging with clients, sharing your lived experiences, and promoting a culture of recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and various community organizations to ensure comprehensive care for each client.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • State Certified Peer Recovery Supporter credential
  • Understanding of substance use treatment and recovery processes
  • Experience in behavioral health or addiction services is advantageous

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to advocating for clients' needs while maintaining confidentiality are essential for building trust and fostering collaborative relationships.
