We are seeking a Caregiver Support Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Support Specialist, you will facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, housekeeping skills, social skills, and community access. You will also aid in mobility as needed and complete data collection, observation notes, and daily reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, housekeeping skills, social skills, and community access.
  • Aid in mobility as needed for individuals using wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
  • Complete data collection, observation notes, and daily reports as directed by agency policy and procedure.
  • Assist consumers in transportation as needed.
  • Participate in and may be responsible for the daily operation of the home in one or more of the following areas: grocery shopping, overseeing consumers' money, monitoring of the physical plant and van maintenance, or monitoring of the house medications.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Satisfactory completion of criminal background.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record is preferred.
