Job Title: Wealth Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team at Lake Street Advisors. As a Wealth Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our ultra-high net worth clients, helping them achieve their long-term financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management plans for clients, including estate, charitable, cash/liquidity, insurance, and investment planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, ensuring that clients receive the most current and effective advice.
  • Partner with our Investment Advisory team to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial and family situations, and providing tailored guidance and support.
  • Monitor client situations and provide ongoing recommendations to ensure alignment with their goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead client meetings, including creating agendas, conducting team preparation, and follow-up meetings.
  • Manage third-party relationships and serve as a liaison on behalf of clients.
  • Support junior wealth management staff with technical knowledge and aid in their growth and development.
  • Pursue new business opportunities through relationships with clients and external contacts.
  • Develop and maintain a strong Center of Influence (COI) network for referral purposes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in wealth relationship management, with a focus on ultra-high net worth client families.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and win the confidence of others.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and provide high-quality advice.
  • CFP, CPA, CFA designations, and/or MBA in addition to a bachelor's degree in business/finance or a related field are strongly preferred.
  • Series 65 is a requirement of the job and is financially supported, as needed, by the firm.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a demonstrated aptitude for mathematics and Excel spreadsheets.
