Nuclear Medicine Technologist Role

Full-Time Opportunity

Next GenHealth Staffing is looking for committed professionals to fill the role of Nuclear Medicine Technologist. In this capacity, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Executing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine techniques.
  • Managing the ordering, preparation, calibration, storage, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Conducting quality assurance assessments on medical equipment and instruments.
  • Efficiently operating radiation detection instruments.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in computer systems, including Meditech and PACS.
  • Ensuring accurate billing and confirming physician orders.
  • Performing inventory audits and aiding in the maintenance of departmental records.
  • Engaging in decontamination processes and supporting departmental upkeep.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by assisting patients and responding to inquiries.
  • Keeping abreast of educational requirements and maintaining necessary certifications.

To qualify for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position, candidates should possess the following:

  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist (New graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION: Graduation from an AMA-accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with ARRT-N or CNMT licensure.
  • LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must hold certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, along with American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
