The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to deliver compassionate and individualized care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
