Software Development Engineer, AWS OpenSearch

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our AWS OpenSearch team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and operate software that allows customers to index, search, and analyze infrastructure and application insights data at scale in a secure, responsive, and reliable environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop a world-class Observability platform on OpenSearch Platform serving individuals and businesses of all sizes
- Produce bullet-proof code that is robust, efficient, and maintainable
- Work on OpenSearch and Apache Lucene open source software to build large-scale ingestion pipelines, numerous plugins, cost-effective indexing on data lakes, AI-driven advanced correlations, anomaly detection, forecasting, alerting, remediation, and more
- Develop end-to-end cloud-native solutions for application performance monitoring (APM), Security information and event management (SIEM), Network Monitoring, and many more
- Work on challenging problems in areas such as data storage, query optimization, JVM performance optimization, security, machine learning, and more
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
