We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Operations Manager to oversee and manage the accounting operations for our multi-site dealership network.

This is a key role that requires a detail-oriented professional with strong managerial skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all accounting functions, including GL management, month-end close processes, deal processing, AR/AP, and other functions across multiple dealership locations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and legal regulations. Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any issues that arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite with Excel expertise; attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, management, and both internal and external stakeholders.
