Schedule & Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $150 - $185 per hour, based on experience and contract type. On-site work takes place Monday through Friday, with on-call weekend coverage every 2 weekends a month.

Job Description

The MindCare Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric support and oversight to the medical division within MindCare Solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders
  • Prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications to ensure effective treatment plans
  • Creating individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions
  • Maintaining up-to-date medical records and ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care
  • Working closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Licensure as a Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania
  • At least 2 years of inpatient experience, preferably with trauma experience
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • A valid and unrestricted DEA license in Pennsylvania
  • Proficiency in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
