The Senior Linen Operations Manager is a crucial role at Healthcare Linen Services Group, responsible for driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth through exceptional service delivery.
About the Role
This senior-level position oversees the management of linen operations, ensuring seamless communication between our team and customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Healthcare Linen Services Group and assigned customer partners.
- Act as intermediary for all issue resolution between operations teams and customers.
- Provide regular reporting and commentary to customers on their linen utilization and service levels.
- Analyze report data to identify opportunities for linen utilization savings and optimize efficiency.
- Proactively monitor dashboards and reports to anticipate potential challenges and implement proactive solutions.
- Meet regularly with Customers to review data and discuss initiatives for improving linen management and infection prevention.
- Conduct training activities to promote best practices in linen management and infection prevention among customer staff.
- Foster a hospital culture focused on linen awareness and management, promoting collaboration and shared goals.
- Partner with other Senior Managers to conduct linen inventories and implement process improvements.
- Work cooperatively with General Managers to optimize efficiency and grow revenue streams within existing customers.
- Ensure compliance with all Linen Service Agreements, including billing, expiration, service levels, and more.
- Assist the CSM team with group projects such as installations, inventories, training, tours, and other initiatives.
- Establish visually manageable linen rooms within customer locations, enhancing inventory control and reducing waste.
- Collaborate with customers and plant teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing stockouts and overstocking.
- Consult with customers to ensure adherence to safety and infection prevention guidelines, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
- Assist in completing renewal proposals, RFPs, or other client projects in the territory, driving business growth and expansion.
- Perform other essential functions as needed to support the success of Healthcare Linen Services Group.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to read and write English fluently.
- Must possess accurate mathematics skills.
- Understand and adhere to all safety guidelines and recommendations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless interactions with customers and employees.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Google, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Capable of following directions given by managers and maintaining a positive attitude.
Estimated Salary Range
$65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
