We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Public Relations Assistant to join our team at Percepta House in Washington, DC. As a key member of our Public Relations department, you will play a crucial role in executing various communication and media strategies to maintain our company's public image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing media relations, drafting press materials, and coordinating events to support our PR campaigns.
  • Monitor media coverage and create reports to track our PR efforts and media mentions.
  • Manage social media content, posts, and engagements under the supervision of our PR Manager.
  • Conduct research on media trends, industry competitors, and target audiences to inform our PR strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align our PR efforts with broader company goals.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of media outlets and the ability to build relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
