Electrophysiology Physician Assistant Cardiology Specialist

Job Summary
Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our electrophysiology services.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services, including initial and ongoing assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients with cardiac disease.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and other advanced practice providers to ensure coordination and continuity of care for electrophysiology patients.
- Participate in conferences and educational opportunities within the hospital to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in electrophysiology.
- Assume major responsibility for the direct care of patients in the inpatient/outpatient setting, as outlined in the job description.
Requirements
- Current and unencumbered Maine State Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License with prescriptive authority.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
- Certification by a national board certifying organization.
- Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
