Production Supervisor

At Latham Pool Products, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise production operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper personnel usage.
  • Implement and maintain a safety-first culture throughout the facility by adhering to company safety policies and programs.
  • Maintain high-quality products throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Responsible for production, meeting daily schedules to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing overtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify efficiency issues and suggest improvements using lean manufacturing principles.
  • Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager.
  • Communicate job expectations, coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, and review process of production employees.
  • Monitor attendance and take disciplinary steps as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Associate degree with experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering-related functions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with payroll systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including extended hours or weekends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience desired.
  • Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and under pressure.
