Job Overview

Compensation: $26.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

We are in search of a skilled maintenance technician for our apartment community, dedicated to transforming vacant units into welcoming homes. As a Service Technician I, your role will encompass not only the preparation of apartments for new residents but also the upkeep of property grounds and shared spaces. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
  • Utilizing a checklist to ensure that vacant apartments are ready for occupancy.
  • Regularly inspecting property grounds and communal areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as directed by the Community Manager and Service Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant maintenance experience in a residential setting.
  • Ability to meet all physical demands and follow instructions effectively.
  • Competence in adhering to both verbal and written directives.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Availability for weekend work as needed; on-call duties on a rotating schedule for emergencies.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; weekend work as required; on-call for emergencies on a rotating basis.
Required Certification: Valid Driver's License in the applicable state or willingness to obtain one within 60 days.
