Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Commercial Photography to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in photography, preparing and delivering engaging coursework, and meeting professional standards for faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in photography, including commercial photography, and develop curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging coursework, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, that reflect a commitment to the college's core values and knowledge of the teaching field.
  • Meet professional standards for faculty, including maintaining accurate records, attending faculty meetings, and participating in departmental activities.
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, and improve teaching practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Photography or a related field.
  • Experience teaching photography courses, preferably at the college level.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial photography principles, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations.
