Meat Cutter and Wrapper Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter and Wrapper to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Meat Cutter and Wrapper, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our members receive high-quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare meat products according to established standards, including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming.
  • Maintain product quality standards and ensure that all meat products meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team and communicate effectively with members.
  • Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
  • Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them to drive sales and improve the shopping experience.
  • Ensure commitment to operational excellence and maintain work area according to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to tackle obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 to $22.00*. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
