About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Participate in the preconstruction bidding process, providing feasibility, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they meet deadlines, budget, production, and quality standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, managing team workload and priorities.
- Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, submittals, and other records.
- Authorize purchase orders, change orders, and approve invoices for payment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members of the company, client organizations, and the community.
- Skilled in leading a group of diverse individuals in an office and field setting.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Able to multi-task, work efficiently both independently and collaboratively, and adapt quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates time management skills with the ability to prioritize the daily workload while planning ahead for larger projects.
- Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
- Ability to frequently visit jobsites and travel for projects if needed.
- Current driver's license.
