Project Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to achieve project goals and deliverables.

• Serve as the main point of contact for the client, both during and after project completion. Cultivates strong working relationships with clients to garner future work.
• Work directly with clients, field teams, subcontractors, and various internal teams for support.
• Participate in the preconstruction bidding process for projects; provide feasibility, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects to ensure they meet deadlines, budget, production, and quality standards.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation, managing team workload and priorities.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status updates and reports.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, submittals, and other records.
• Authorize purchase orders, change orders, and approve invoices for payment.
• Participates in recurring meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management or a related field or any combination of formal construction-related education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.

·      Strong communication and outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to easily interact with members of the company, client organizations, and the community.

• Skilled in leading a group of diverse individuals both in an office and field setting.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
• Able to multi-task, work efficiently both independently and collaboratively, and adapt quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates time management skills with the ability to prioritize the daily workload while planning ahead for larger projects.

·      Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools.

·      Ability to frequently visit jobsites.

·      Ability to travel for projects if needed.

·      Current driver’s license.
