About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Novant Health, specializing in the vascular service line. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve complex patient care issues and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure timely patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, care delivery, and outcomes in medical records.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact license.
  • At least one year of experience in acute care, with a focus on vascular surgery.
