Job Description

This role offers the chance to join our team as a key player in supporting the day-to-day operations of our construction projects. As Project Assistant Superintendent, you will play a vital support role in ensuring the project runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.

You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, working closely with the project superintendent and project engineer to drive scheduling efficacy, ensure each trade is on schedule and on budget, and deliver finished units that meet plans and specifications.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate a clear plan of action. They must be driven by a need to safely deliver projects on time and on budget and excel in a support role with a desire to become a leader in the field.

This position involves regularly interacting with clients, supporting project managers and superintendents, learning about the organization, and making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage organizational skills to lead by example and drive results.
  • Identify and communicate detailed issues that may require designers' input.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors in the field to resolve questions and issues.
  • Maintain a safe workplace, recognizing and addressing potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with the project team, embracing assigned roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor and ensure the project schedule stays on track.
  • Create and manage punch lists for timely completion.
