Job Overview

Pavilion Construction is a dynamic company that fosters growth and achievement for its employees. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team.

This role plays a crucial part in the project lifecycle, handling procurement, bidding proposals, and submissions. As a liaison between project owners and prospective subcontractors, you will be responsible for delivering excellent services and industry wisdom to our clients.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience in purchasing within the construction industry. Proficiency in computer software tools for quantity take-off material surveys is essential, as well as a developed database of reliable subcontractors.

We are looking for someone who can draft a comprehensive Work/Management Plan and critical path schedule, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to deliver client intentions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to coordinate project activities
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure optimal pricing and service
  • Conduct thorough analysis of schematic drawings to identify potential issues and opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3-10 years of experience in purchasing within the construction industry
  • Proficient in computer software tools for quantity take-off material surveys
  • Developed database of reliable subcontractors
