Audiologist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at QTC Medical Group California in Sacramento, CA. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Audiologist will be responsible for administering and interpreting various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, evaluating test results, and documenting patient information. You will also be responsible for conducting otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
  • Evaluate test results and document patient information
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills and certifications
  • Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)
  • Travel up to 50% to provide audiology examinations for clients in multiple locations
Requirements
  • Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience
  • Professional experience directly related or desire to work with Compensation and Pension Examination, and experience with hearing conservation programs/and or noise conservation programs preferred but not required
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed and license shall be unrestricted
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government Clearances (LARS/Public Trust Clearance, etc)
