Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our Bariatric Surgery team in St. Louis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive care and support throughout their weight loss journey.

About the Role:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions to adult patients undergoing bariatric surgery
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' emotional and psychological needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct follow-up sessions with patients to monitor their progress and provide ongoing support

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Experience working with patients undergoing bariatric surgery or with eating disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
