Position Details
- The selected candidate will become a member of the SSM Health surgical team and serve as faculty within the academic institution.
- Competitive compensation package with academic rank and salary aligned with experience.
- Base salary with potential for bonuses.
- Eligibility for a sign-on bonus.
- The thoracic surgery program manages a comprehensive lung cancer screening initiative across multiple hospitals, supported by an excellent nursing and nurse practitioner team, including an intake navigation program.
- Inpatient care is provided at affiliated hospitals, which includes the supervision and training of surgical residents and the education of medical students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Program.
- Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible.
- Eligibility to obtain a medical license in the relevant state.
- Proficiency in minimally invasive or robotic surgical techniques in general thoracic surgery.
