Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our oral surgeons in their daily operations.
Responsibilities- Patient Education: Educate patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care to ensure they are well-informed and prepared for their treatment.
- Relationship Building: Build lasting, personal relationships with patients, their families, and our referring physicians to establish trust and confidence in our practice.
- Treatment Assistance: Assist our oral surgeons with treatment procedures, including preparing patients, maintaining asepsis, and providing support during procedures.
- Radiology and Instrumentation: Take radiographs and CBCTs as needed, and sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Post-Operative Care: Provide patients with post-operative instructions and follow-up care to ensure a smooth recovery.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a medical or dental office preferred.
- Competitive Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
